Celebrating the passion, ingenuity and dedication of The Future Anything Challenge educators

Welcome!

2026 has been another record year for The Future Anything Challenge with over 8000 students and 360 teachers in more than 85 schools in across Australia bending the future, one youth-led idea at a time.

While the 2026 Future Anything Finals will showcase innovative, scalable, and sustainable student enterprise ideas, they will also celebrate YOU, our Activate educators. In the sixth Future Anything Educator Awards, we’ll recognise the teachers who’ve not only led The Future Anything Challenge in their classroom but who have lived it through their own enterprising approach to teaching and learning.

Unveiled at the high profile Future Anything Grand Final in Brisbane in November 2026, winners will share in over $10,000 of prizes to support their schools’ entrepreneurial aspirations.

Future Anything Trailblazer of the Year 2026

 

This award goes to an outstanding first-year teacher of The Future Anything Challenge.

The recipient will be an educator who has built enterprising mindsets and inspired their students to bend the future through The Future Anything Challenge 2026.

 Cally Nielsen Future Anything Educator of the Year 2026

 

This award goes to an experienced Future Anything educator.

The recipient will be an educator who has built an enterprising culture within students, staff and their community to bend the future through The Future Anything Challenge 2026.

Future Anything Team of the Year 2026

This award goes to an outstanding team of Future Anything educators.

Their collective efficacy, positivity, and shared vision has led to the emergence (or growth) of an enterprising school culture, partnerships with the broader entrepreneurial eco-system and engaging (and fun) opportunities for young people to bend the future; one youth-led idea at a time.

The Small(ish) Print

  • Nominations are open until 11.30 AEST on Sunday 18 October 2026
  • Nominees must be teachers registered to deliver The Future Anything Challenge 2026 program
  • Nominations must be endorsed by the nominee’s school principal.
  • All nominations will be judged by Future Anything and a panel of selected judges. The panel will consider information included on the nomination form and any relevant supporting documents. The panel’s decision will be deemed final and appeals will not be considered.
  • Contact information may be used for administration and media purposes.
  • Finalists, their nominator and Principal will be notified by Future Anything directly in late October 2026.
  • Winners will be announced at the Future Anything National Final in November 2026 (details to be announced soon).
